ABOUT US

OUR MISSION
AMP CHURCH exists for people to discover, grow, and mature in their identity in Christ.
OUR WHY
The church as a body is meant to reflect the goodness of God. As His church, it is our mission to empower and equip people, leading them to a transforming encounter with Jesus. It’s time for the church to embody Christ at all times, whether inside or outside of a building.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
We are about filling people, not seats. We are purposed to empower disciples to become true servants of Christ. We are concerned about making our faith a lifestyle. We are compelled to revive and restore power back into God’s people through the Holy Spirit.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that the Bible is the truth and instruction for man to become like Christ, inspired by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 5:18; 24:35; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
We believe that in order to walk with Jesus, we must humble ourselves and change our mind to no longer walk in the ways of our former life (Acts 17:30-31; Matthew 3:8).
We believe in one God existing in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:21-22; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin fully man and fully God, conceived through the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:26-35; John 1:1, 14, 18; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; Philippians 2:5-11; Revelation 1:7-8; 22:12-13, 16).
We believe that Jesus descended into the lower parts of the earth to take the keys of sin and death, and then ascended to sit at the right hand of the Father to restore mankind to God (John 14:2-3; Acts 1:9-11; Philippians 2:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-5:11; Hebrews 9:28).
We believe that a repentant sinner will be saved by grace through faith. This grace is the result of Jesus shedding his blood on the cross, covering all sins (Ephesians 2:8-9).
We believe that baptism is crucial to a believer’s walk with Christ. When a believer is baptized, we believe that this results in the dying of oneself and the resurrection into new life in Christ Jesus (Colossians 2:11-12; Romans 6:1-18; 1 Peter 3:21-22).
We believe that followers of Christ should be filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit empowers believers to walk in authority, as Jesus commanded (John 14:26; Acts 1:8).
We believe that Jesus will return for his bride! (Revelation 19:11-16; Revelation 20:1-7)
